Wondering where you can have a good night out up here in Cape Trib? Check out our friends over at Whet Bar, Cafe And Restaurant - they do a fantastic cocktail and eating out on the deck is a real joy!

Plus it's all self-sustained and off-grid... they even use leftover cardboard to mulch their tropical fruit orchard. Definitely worth booking if you're coming to visit us here at Wildwood 🍸🍸

The Metallic Starlings have returned!

These stunning birds (Aplonis metallica) with their brilliant red eyes and their iridescent glossy black feathers are migratory and have recently returned to Northern Australia.

Often seen flying in impressive murmations, these highly social rainforest birds travel in impressive colonies of seemingly endless individuals, and they create a cacophony of noise along Macrossan Street when they roost there at night!
