Hold onto your plumage, folks — Not Frog Friday its officially CANCELLED today sorry Bob 🐸, and we’re ushering in Feathered Friday with the kind of chaotic energy only a cassowary could bring. Jaws dropped, mouth open , feathers were ruffled, and began trending faster than a cassowary charging at a tourist with trail mix.

Paparazzi caught Calliope the Cassi mid-yawn yesterday morn , and let’s just say — her mouth stretched wider than a Kardashian’s vacation budget. It’s Jurassic Park meets Vogue.

Remember , don’t get too close. Those claws aren’t just for show. 🐤💅

The other day I posted a croc all glammed up NT-style — waiting ever so patiently for those nails to dry.💅🏽💅🏽💅🏽

Well up here in QLD we do glamour too.
We’ve got our own runway kings and queens , standing tall and showing off those talons like they just stepped out of the salon 💅🏽. Our nails we treasure them, sharpen them, and flaunt them.
Because darling — whether it’s croc couture or lizard luxe — fabulous is fabulous.” So Talons out, darling — glamour’s a state of mind.

They’re called crafty spiders for a reason, folks — and here’s Exhibit A. Eight legs, zero effort, and a front-row seat gliding through the Daintree like it’s ordered first-class river transport.

No paddling, no web maintenance, no dramas — just a crafty passenger taking in the sights . Probably heading to a prime insect buffet upstream, or maybe just enjoying the view and the free ride.

Around here, it’s not “survival of the fittest”… it’s “survival of the craftiest.”
