I am always looking for the next challenge and there a few big projects in the background 🤦‍♀️😬 but now it is the time to pause and say thank you to all of you that supported my shop/ catering and make it a successful business.
Without you everything was still a dream❤

Cruise tourism is a growing contributor to the Gascoyne and Western Australian economy. In 2023–24, the cruise sector generated $273 million in economic output across WA, with projections to rise to up to $620 million by 2033 (WA Cruise Tourism Strategy 2023–33).

Cruise tourism is growing rapidly in the Gascoyne, with Exmouth increasing from 3 visits in 2019 to 14 in 2024 and 15 scheduled for 2025. Further development of destinations like Shark Bay and Coral Bay will create even more opportunities for local businesses, tour operators, and the wider community.

GDC is supporting this growth in partnership with tour operators, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure, local government, Australia’s Coral Coast, and Tourism WA by:

• Coordinating arrivals through a Cruise Working Group
• Assessing the financial and community value of cruise
• Building the capacity of local cruise-ready operators
• Enhancing visitor welcome experiences

Together, we’re working to ensure cruise delivers lasting economic and social benefits while safeguarding Exmouth’s unique environment and community character.
