Castlereagh Conference Centre

Castlereagh Conference Centre is located at the foot of the Blue Mountains in a very peaceful setting with spectacular mountain scenery all around. We are located on the edge of the Penrith Lakes Scheme, adjacent to the Sydney International Regatta Centre and our venue comprises principal elements of the Upper Castlereagh Heritage Precinct with continuous historical links back to 1815. Our venue h

as accommodation up to a maximum of 48 guests with a minimum of 20 people. All our rooms are twin ensemble beds (no bunks!)

Our rates include the provision of Blankets, Towels and Bed Linen and all our rooms are ensuited with Air Conditioning, Kitchenettes and TV. You can hire our venue for Retreats, Weddings, Conferences, Group Accommodation, Functions/Events.

Meet the Team

Hi, I'm Michelle, the Venue Coordinator at Castlereagh Conference Centre.

I've been part of the Castlereagh team for 5 years and have proudly been the Venue Coordinator for the past 3 years.

My role is incredibly varied, and no two days are ever the same! I oversee our housekeeping team, coordinate the setup and running of events, assist with food preparation for our day conferences, wakes and memorial, care for our beautiful gardens, chapel and cemetery, and help ensure every part of the Centre is clean, welcoming, and beautifully presented for our guests.

Hi, I'm Natasha, the Bookings & Administration Coordinator at Castlereagh Conference Centre.

I've been part of the Castlereagh team for almost 3 years, where I manage bookings and the day-to-day administration of the Centre. From helping guests plan their events to ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, I love being part of creating memorable experiences for our visitors.

I also look after our marketing, social media, website design, and promotional materials, helping showcase everything that makes Castlereagh Conference Centre such a special destination. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is contributing to the growth of the Centre and finding new ways to connect with our community.

Hi, I'm Michael, the Centre Manager at Castlereagh Conference Centre.

I commenced working in 2020 and have now been part of the Castlereagh team for over six years. I previously worked with Uniting Venues, giving me 16 years of service within the Uniting Church.
Before joining Castlereagh, I built my career in the hotel and hospitality industry, gaining valuable experience in customer service, management, and creating memorable guest experiences.
One of the things I enjoy most about my role is welcoming guests to our beautiful venue and helping create special moments, whether it's a conference, wedding, retreat, or family celebration.
It's a privilege to lead such a dedicated team and ensure every guest leaves with a positive experience.
