Parklife has been very relaxing over the weekend. The shower of rain last week settled the dust and freshened up your village nicely. Rod found another old leg vice under a tree here somewhere so he set it up in the garden beside the other. Safe travels everyone!

Another wonderful weekend in your village with Colleen Sylvester and her knitted bilbys!, Colleen, when after visiting the bilby experience in town over a decade ago, started knitting crafted wool bilbys to raise awareness for Save the Bilby Fund. Colleen's bilby raffle and sausage sizzle last night clocked just over $300 and everyone got involved. Great work Colleen and safe travels everyone.

Been an eventful week at your estate. National Tree Day was a great roll up with 30 odd people for a Mulgalands environmental walk and community BBQ. We also had a raffle for Save the Bilby Fund with one of Joan's creations and Merv Bryant was the winner with 70 dollars raised. Plus we finished off top dressing the roads and Ralph has been on the tractor doing some grading. Safe travels everyone!

Well, the second-best day of the year (only after Mother’s Day) is almost upon us! National Tree Day at the Evening Star is on this Sunday the 26th.
Commencing at 10 AM with a Mulgalands environmental walk covering the ecological assets of SW QLD, some native tree and shrub planting within the estate and culminating with a sausage sizzle BBQ around 12 Noon for all involved.
Pictured are a few of the previous National Tree Days when we undertook some planting events and no doubt some of you will recognise the familiar faces and how the landscape has changed over time.To find out more about National Tree Day and to see if there is a event near you https://nationaltreeday.org.au/find-a-site/

Safe travels everyone.
