It’s World Wildlife Day, and this little nocturnal engineer is why we never give up.

Today, we’re reminded that conservation isn’t just about celebrating wildlife; it’s about doing the work to protect it. 💚

Every bilby released into the wild represents years of dedication, planning, fieldwork, and community support.

And as we prepare for Dig Deep for Bilbies Giving Day, Thursday, March 26th, we’re reminded that none of this happens without people who care enough to stand with us.

Because wildlife deserves more than admiration.
It deserves action.

Beware the Blood Moon!

Get ready for a celestial sight. Next Tuesday, March 3rd, the skies above the Outback will be treated to a stunning Total Lunar Eclipse. We are running a special Outback Stargazing tour right as the magic happens, and spots are booking up.

Our Outback Stargazing tour will run from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, giving you an incredible guided view as the eclipse builds. Even better? Once the tour wraps up, guests are welcome to stick around at their leisure to watch totality peak between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM!

Things are currently looking optimistic for clear skies! Of course, if the weather affects our Moon viewing we will continue our tour inside QLD's largest Planetarium, with a special focus on our amazing natural satellite!

Our Story

Graham and Deb built their park and opened 10 years ago. Graham had the vision and Deb couldn’t see it initially, but like Graham, is very proud of their place, where they call home!

When not on one of their Travel West Outback Tours, Graham & Deb love joining with their manager’s around the campfire. Graham will tell a few stories and engage the crowd with his geography knowledge of Outback Queensland and many parts of Australia.

Set on 40 acres just 2 kms from town, offering visitors a relaxed & friendly atmosphere. After a warm welcome, enjoy the peaceful, quiet ambience and chat with fellow travellers around the campfire or be mesmerized by the chandelier of stars as you lay on our ‘star bed’.
