Welcome to all visitors to the King Valley for the Dolce Vita weekend. Enjoy your time here in our beautiful valley.

We are so sorry that we are not able to welcome visitors to King River Camp for this weekend, due to a long standing booking here, whose Covid regulations have said they want sole use of the camp this year.

We look forward to seeing you all here at another time to enjoy our beautiful camp.

We are sorry that we are unable to have guests here at the moment due to the continued lockdown. We look forward to seeing you all again when we are out of the enforced closure.

VICTORIA LOCKDOWN.....
Closure from today 12am until 9am on Friday the 4th of June, 2021.
Due to the State lock-down for Victoria advised in the press conference today https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/statement-acting-premier-1 King River Camp will be closed to all campers/visitors from today until Friday the 4th of June, 2021 at 9am. We are sad as we were looking forward to our weekend visitors. We will miss you. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming you back soon. Stay well.

Also at this stage we are having to adhere to some things we need to do for the local authorities. It is unfortunate but we can-not take in single caravan/tents for the time being. Those already having confirmed bookings with us are fine and group bookings are ok. We look forward to welcoming you all back ASAP. Please call us 03 57298258 if you have any queries.

On the advice of our public health team, Victoria will move to circuit breaker restrictions from 11:59pm tonight. We want to let you know that we are FULLY BOOKED FOR EASTER......... Hope to see you next time if you aren't able to come this holiday period. Please stay safe on the road etc on your way here.
We are looking forward to you all arriving. Please come to the office before setting up your camp etc. We still have firewood for sale at $30.00 per barrow load, or you can bring your own. Please bring your own fire barrel if you can.

STATEMENT FROM THE PREMIER
Zero.
The last time Victoria had zero cases was 9 June, 139 days ago.
Even more incredibly, it’s zero cases off the back of a huge testing drive.
Over the course of this weekend, we asked Victorians living in our northern suburbs to get tested. They did just that.
In 24 hours, we have been able to process an additional 14,024 tests – 3196 of them from these communities. This morning we’ve processed an extra 1157.
And not a single new case has been found.
I want to thank everyone who did the right thing by their community and our state in getting tested. I also want to thank the nurses, lab technicians, collectors, couriers – everyone who has been working around the clock to process these tests.
Because of that effort, we’ve been able to get the results faster than we thought. These results give us confidence – confidence that even if we do identify positive cases in any further tests – we are firmly on top of this virus.
It’s why today I can confirm what we’ve long waited for: Melbourne will move out of lockdown and into the Third Step. Before we get to the bit that almost everyone will be waiting for, an ask:
As we take these steady steps towards reopening, the message remains the same: please, stay safe. And if you have symptoms, you must get tested.
I know it’s frustrating, but this is about making sure that even as we ease restrictions, we’re limiting the virus’s ability to travel.
It’s why the border between regional Victoria and Melbourne will also remain in place – for just a bit longer......😏

So, here at camp we are looking forward to the next update on 8th November and hope that the border in Victoria is removed forever.

Yeah, we are open for business. We look forward to you coming back to see us here and spending time with us for relaxation.
There are some restrictions off course.
We at this stage cant take visitors from the Melbourne postcodes that are still in lock-down.

CLOSURE UPDATE . Hi all. Just an update that I am sure most of you know anyway. Due to lockdown in Victoria we are again closed until further notice. We are so sad about this situation as we miss you all. The camp is not the same without visitors. We look forward to the end of the pandemic. Blessings to you all.

Yippee we have a group in at long last. It’s been a long time due to fires and pandemic. As the photo shows it’s to do with Art. We welcome Ben Winspear and his great group again.

It is so awesome to look out the window and see lights on around the camp. Everybody is great and understanding about the restrictions still in place. Would love to see more people as the weeks move on.

UPDATE.UPDATE........ Along with celebrating being open, there has now been an easing of restrictions. So we can now host anybody here, either campers, caravanners or users of the Dormitory and cottage facilities. We are still unable to offer communal eating facilities. We can discuss further in booking conversations. We look forward to seeing you all here again. Hurray King Valley comes alive again.
