We are seeking a motivated individual or couple to manage our small motel located in Childers QLD.

Your role will play a key part in ensuring smooth operation of day-to-day running of the Motel, including:
• Reception, handling all check-in and check-out, enquiries,
• Hands-on role ensuring that the accommodation, grounds and gardens, and facilities are well maintained and cleaned to a high standard,
• Assisting housekeepers and general cleaning as required,
• Stock ordering,
• Ensure workplace safety is in place,
• Ensure guest satisfaction and provide good customer service,
• Laundry – when required and cleaner cloths only,
• and any other day to day tasks that may arise for the general management of the motel,
• On-site training will be provided to the successful applicant/s.

Ideally have experience in the accommodation industry but not essential. You should be equipped with computer and administration skills and demonstrate that you have the following skills and experiences:

• Excellent customer service skills and manners,
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
• Problem solving skills,
• Computer literacy,
• Demonstrate commitment to customer satisfaction,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Great organisational and administrations skills,
• Flexible attitude to work and work hours,
• Understanding WH&S responsibilities,
• Current references,
• Police clearance,
• Following company procedures,
• A current driver's licence is essential,
• Included in salary package: - 2-bedroom residence on site, electricity, gas, water and internet,
• Small pets considered.

This position is available to commence 15th February 2024, start date can be negotiable for the right individual or couple.
