Spring@Circles in the Forest

This weekend we had the sounds of young voices ring out❤️💙We welcomed a group of youth leaders from HBBC(Hervey Bay) for an overnight camp aimed at team building and training! They pitched their tents, enjoyed “boerie rolls” cooked over a charcoal fire, cooked s’mores over the campfire in the LAPA, listened to their lectures and then broke up in between for swimming, volleyball and/ other games. The time flew by and they promised to return next year for 2 nights as they wanted to have more time to fit in bush walks and more activities …⭕️🌳❤️

Spring is such a beautiful time and the birds are also celebrating the new season!

Today we woke up to a mysterious, misty morning …

Today we said goodbye to Darren and Tracey , our amazing caretakers😪
They were meant to stay a few weeks , but then disaster struck and Gary broke his foot …and they vowed that they would not leave until Gary was mobile again??!!

Through this time they kept our campground going and we still got our 5 star reviews ❤️How can your ever repay such kindness?

Gary is on his feet again and it’s time for Darren and Tracey to continue their journey…however, they have left their footprints in many ways: a new look for our entrance , new plants everywhere, a frog hotel , new marketing material etc.

We are going to miss Tracey’s freshly baked bread , shared meals and cuppas …

Circles in the Forest brought us together and we are so glad for the memories ⭕️🌳❤️
