The Clermont Hotel Motel

The Clermont Hotel Motel Iconic pub, the ‘Hoey Moey’ famous for its country style, hearty meals. The ‘Hoey Moey’ has been a huge part of Clermont’s history.

Originally moved from Blair Athol, as the ‘Terminus Hotel’ it moved to it’s current location, opposite the railway station, after the 1916 flood. When a fire gutted the pub in 1964, it was rebuilt in what was a very modern style at the time, as featured in the cover photo… very Flinstonesish!! The Hoey Moey has undergone many transformations over the years, the latest renovations debut on the 3rd of May, 2022.

Due to staff shortages, the Clermont Hotel Motel will be closed today Monday 31/08/2026.

We will re-open tomorrow Tuesday 1st September from 2pm for bar and bistro service.
