Our guests at “Sh*t Creek” knew we had footy on, so off they went to watch and support our Under 18s and even grabbed themselves some merch while they were there to support the club.

How good is that?!

The Long Drive for Drought crew are back on the road again this year, clocking up the kilometres for a cause that means so much to so many. 🇦🇺🌾

We hosted these legends on last years run, and what a genuinely great bunch they are. Good people, big hearts, and a real passion for backing farmers and rural communities when they need it most.

There’s something pretty special about mates getting together, hitting the road and doing their bit for the bush.

If you see them along the way, give ’em a wave, have a yarn, throw your support behind them and help make every kilometre count.

This time tomorrow we’ll be kicking of LDFD26 in Kenilworth. The next ten days will be full of fun, adventure, laughs, tears and great memories.

We are travelling through some incredible country, on backroads you’d never dream of going down, and visiting some of the most iconic pubs, bakeries
and little towns along the way.

As always, the greatest privilege will be visiting farmers, who have needed a hand in the past, where they are brave enough to share their stories with us.

Of course of all this wouldn’t happen without the amazing sponsors, incredibly generous participants and the wonderful communities we visit.

We’re sorry to hear that so many have been turned away from the Bash due to the extreme weather.
However, that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on a party! 🥳

Why not make your way through Cobar on Saturday for our Picnic Race day, followed by us playing at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club! 💃🏻🕺🏼

UPDATE

Due to the current weather forecast predicting a 95–100% chance of rain, with 10–14mm expected, we have made the difficult decision not to take any bookings at this stage.

We understand that a number of guests have sadly already had their MMB bookings cancelled and may be looking for alternative options. The last thing we want is for those guests to rebook with us, only for us to then have to cancel as well particularly with so many travellers on the move and the possibility of being left without another option.

If we receive the amount of rain currently forecast, we expect that we would need to remain closed for 1–2 days. At this stage, we are anticipating reopening on Sunday.

We’ve never had to make a call like this based on a predicted weather event, but given the current circumstances, we feel this is the fairest decision and gives everyone the best opportunity to make alternative plans rather than risk a last-minute cancellation.

We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and truly appreciate everyone’s understanding.

If the forecast or conditions change, we will update everyone as soon as possible.
