LAST DAY TO STAMP YOUR LEAF!
Philippe Ravenel from Galba Forge and Iain Hamilton from Mother Mountain Forge, our two local blacksmiths who are the driving force behind the Cobargo Community Tree Project are setting up behind the Beer Garden to start stamping from 10am. So if you have not yet stamped a leaf, or have a friend or family member who was in Cobargo during the bushfires, or helped out the community afterwards, please come on down and be part of history! We need another 200 leaves stamped to make up the roughly 2000 that will form the commemorative tree that will take pride of place in the Rebuild Cobargo Village Square courtyard in the Main Street.

So come down Saturday and get behind this fantastic community project!!

Hello Dear Community Members,

We will run one last name stamping day on Saturday 9 May 2026, on the parking at the back of the Cobargo Hotel, starting at 10am and until 2 or 3pm...or depending on attendance.

So, if you were living in the area comprised between Dignams Creek to the North, Brogo to the South, Yowrie to the West and Coolagolite to the East during the Black Summer Bush fires, or have helped that local Community in any way and wish to stamp your name or someone else’s name on a leaf which will be part of a commemorative forged tree, to be installed at the Village square location in Cobargo, please come along!

If you cannot make it yourself, please fill free to ask a friend or family member to do it for you: We really need some physical input form the community for its energy to be contained in the Tree.
