Solitary Islands Aquarium is part of the National Marine Science Centre. It has aquariums, interactive and visual displays and presentations. The staff have exceptional knowledge and skills. Worth the visit. Opens 10am to 4pm Weekends and everyday during school holidays. $15 entry concession rate.

A visit close to home. Not for profit organisation intent on animal rescue and rehabilitation. I recommend doing the full tour. Very informative. There's always going to be haters out there but they need to do their research. We read all the information on the boards also. Have included that info in the pics. Cost $44 concession entry but well worth it. Got to touch the dolphins. Keep up the good work.

Some casual shots. Stayed at Trial Bay NP campground. Reasonably price and waterfront views. Incredible sunsets. Then stayed at Horseshoe Bay caravan park. Well priced also. Only one spot left and right on the water again. Very lucky. Such a beautiful place that's why we keep going back.

Another bit of history. Maritime museum and precinct. War Memorial also. Was fascinating. Some beautiful sculptures too....

Took in the history and views of the Monument Hill walk at Trial Bay South West Rocks doing the loop past the German Monument, the old graves, Little Bay/Beach and back up past the Powder Monuments. Pretty easy walk. Information of the history is in the pics.

After looking around outside everytime we visit decided to take a tour inside. Very inexpensive but well worth the visit...

After looking around outside everytime we visit decided to take a tour inside. Very inexpensive but well worth the visit. So much amazing history. Learnt so much. Just ruins now as the place was stripped almost bare after it last closed. All info in the pics.

Stayed a night in the leafy secluded caravan park at waterfront. A lovely shallow swimming spot. Watched the tides change and sunset walk through the water and rock formations. Watched sunrise. Shops and tavern are a very short drive from the park. Little coffee van on waterfront.
