At Alimento we've somehow ended up with three of the best chefs in the state — Rupeak, Mo and Suman — which is either exceptional recruiting or exceptional luck. We're going with recruiting of course!!! We have always prided ourselves on the best since the doors blew open.
As we grow, these three will be directing all Alimento food traffic across the new shops also, and we'd back them against anyone.
But this plate .... the colour chart of favour? This one's Will's.
Will is our locally bred apprentice, and he is quietly demolishing everything put in front of him.
Smashed avo on sourdough, poached eggs that actually hold their shape, and a beetroot hummus swipe that looks like it belongs in a gallery. Basic stuff done really well.
Not bad for someone who's technically still learning — though with three Masterchefs looking over his shoulder, he was never going to coast.
And a shout out to our "would be apprentice" Mitul, who rolls in for a weekly cameo with the family Butter Chicken recipe while he manages the Alimento ship. No notes. No substitutions. No questions asked.
And the big news folks for Swansea ..... you will have to wait until tomorrow 😅😅😅
