The Opportunity
We’re looking for a reliable, adaptable, and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the venue.
This is a role for someone who can take ownership, lead from the front, and confidently manage shifts across a multi-faceted operation. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems, and keep the business running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support and step in for the Venue Manager across all areas of the business
• Lead shifts with confidence, ensuring smooth, consistent operations
• Oversee bar, bottle shop, floor, and service delivery standards
• Manage stock, ordering, and daily operational requirements
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff on shift
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues effectively
• Ensure compliance with RSA, licensing, and safety standards
• Take ownership of opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and reporting
• Assist in coordinating events, functions, and entertainment

Skills & Experience
• Proven hospitality leadership experience (Supervisor or Assistant Manager level)
• Strong all-round operational knowledge (bar, bottle shop, service)
• Highly reliable, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to move across different areas of the business
• Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience with Office 365, Tanda, Booking.com, and Little Hotelier highly regarded

Requirements
• Current RSA
• Approved Manager License
• WA Approved Manager ID preferred
• Full Australian working rights
• Availability across nights, weekends, and varied shifts
