1. These terms and conditions (Terms) are entered into between Amaroo Escape ABN 13 023 070 811 (we, us or our) and you, together the Parties and each a Party. b. The Terms become effective and binding upon the Parties at the time it is accepted by the you, which shall include by electronic means.
2. Promoter

3. Competition Name & Duration
a. We are running a competition called the “Winter Giveaway” subject to these Terms (Competition)
b. The Competition runs from 12:01am on June 9, 2021 until 11:59pm on June 30th, 2021
4. Prize
a. The winners of the Competition will be awarded a gift certificate for two nights accommodation for up to two adults (Prize) to be redeemed by phoning Amaroo Escape
b. For clarity, the Prize does not include (without limitation):
i. Transport
ii. Travel Insurance; and
iii. Meals
c. The value of the Prize is a maximum of $760 AUD. d. All Prizes are valued in Australian dollars. e. All Prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable, redeemable for cash or for resale. All bookings are subject to availability and Amaroo Escape’s Terms. Full payment of the entire booking amount is required upon booking when using a gift certificate. f. Photographic identification of the winner will be required (such as driver’s licence, passport or student card where photo is included) to claim a Prize. g. The expiry date for the gift certificate is strictly 12 months from the date the winner is notified. No extensions are possible. We are unable to redeem expired gift certificates under any circumstances. Any unused balance on expiry cannot be credited or refunded. If you cancel a booking made with a gift certificate, and the booking is refundable, any amount refunded will be provided in the form of a gift certificate with the same expiry date as the original gift certificate.
5. Drawer & Winner
a. The winner will be randomly selected by a computerised random generator from the database of all entries. The selection of winner will be final and not subject to review. c. The winner will be notified by direct message through the Instagram or Facebook account that they submitted their entry on. If the winner does not confirm acceptance of the Prize in writing within 48 hours of receiving notice from us, then we may, in our complete discretion:
i. Cancel the Prize; or
ii. Redraw the Prize (by selecting another entrant). We shall not be responsible for any winners not receiving a message as a result of incorrect contact details being provided to us.
6. Entry & Conditions
a. Every person that is a resident of Australia who likes & posts a comment on our competition post on either Instagram or Facebook and follows is eligible to enter the Competition. Acceptance of the Prize is conditional upon showing evidence you are over 21 years of age. Employees of the Promoter and their families may not enter the Competition.
7. Conditions of Entry
7.1 By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any terms and conditions advertised on our website or otherwise notified by us specific to the Competition.
7.2 It is the sole responsibility of each entrant to ensure that their entry meets the conditions of entry to be eligible to win a Prize. This includes submitting the entry within the entry dates and ensuring the entry is complete and comprehensible. For clarity, entries not completed in accordance with the conditions of entry or received after the closing date will not be considered by us, and we take no responsibility for such in any way.
8. Privacy
8.1 The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Promoter's Privacy Policy, which is also available on their website. The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate for these purposes and/or in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can contact us if you would like details of the personal information that the Promoter may hold about you or if you would like it to be corrected or deleted. 9. Internet
9.1 If for any reason the Competition does not run for its duration due to a computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter is not responsible for any:
a. Malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
b. Failure of any email or entry to be received by the Promoter; nor
c. Any injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the competition or down loading any materials in a competition.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as Prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner.
10.2 This clause does not affect any rights a consumer may have which are unable to be excluded under Australian law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
