The guys from From Ozzie Home Improvement will be here from tommorow.

The lights occasionally flicker, things trip when they feel like it, and somewhere in the building a wire is probably laughing at us.

We've checked the obvious things:
✔ Turned it off and on again
✔ Stared at the switchboard professionally
✔ Used several colourful Australian words

Unfortunately, the fault remains undefeated.

So if you're an electrician who enjoys a challenge and likes solving mysteries more than Netflix detectives, we'd love to hear from you.

🎉 WE FOUND OUR CLEANER! 🎉

The search is over.

The interviews are done.

The dust is nervous.

After an overwhelming number of applications, we're happy to announce that we've found our new Housekeeper at Radeka's Downunder Motel.

A huge thank you to everyone who applied. We read some great applications, and discovered that quite a few of you are apparently experts at folding fitted sheets (we remain sceptical).

To our new team member: welcome aboard! We look forward to introducing you to our underground maze of rooms, our amazing guests, and our long-running feud with Coober Pedy dust.

To everyone else, thank you again for your interest. Keep an eye on our page—you never know when another opportunity might pop up from underground.

Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to tell the dust it's been officially outnumbered.

📢 UPDATE: We're Sorting Through Applications...

First of all, thank you to everyone who applied for the Housekeeper position at Radeka's Downunder Motel.

We've been carefully reviewing applications using our highly sophisticated recruitment process, which involves:

✅ Reading resumes.

✅ Drinking coffee.

✅ Reading resumes again.

✅ Arguing over whose turn it is to make more coffee.

So far we've learned:

• Some people have 20 years of housekeeping experience.

• Some people have no experience but excellent confidence.

• One applicant listed "professional napper" as a skill.

• Several people appear to be running from something and have chosen Coober Pedy as their hiding place.

We're working our way through the applications and will be in touch soon.

In the meantime, if you haven't heard from us yet, don't panic. We're underground and occasionally operate at the speed of an opal miner looking for a vein.
