This really is the sunshine state! It's almost mid Autumn and the temperature is still nudging 30ºC, to go with our average of 250 sunny days per year!
Although some of the locals are beginning to look forward to some cooler weather, remember that winter (June - August) on the Gold Coast is generally sunny and dry, and June marks the beginning of whale watching season.
