We did a thing... 😅

Our team decided to jump on the latest "different tones" TikTok trend for all the Gold Coast Tourist Parks and, well... let's just say none of us are quitting our day jobs anytime soon. 🎤😂

What started as a fun team challenge quickly turned into a masterclass in second-hand embarrassment, questionable singing choices, and discovering talents we never knew (or needed to know) existed.

Was it cringe-worthy? Absolutely.
Did we laugh until our cheeks hurt? Also absolutely.

From pompadours to polka dots, leather jackets to rockabilly dresses — everyone was on their absolute best rockin’ behaviour, and we loved every minute of it. 🎤✨

Our Rec Room was absolutely buzzing with energy for **Keza’s Live Music Trivia**, and what a massive hit it was with our guests! 🕺💃 The turnout was fantastic, the atmosphere was electric, and the rock n roll spirit was well and truly alive!

What a week of rock n roll flair, vintage vibes, and show-stopping style it’s been at Cooly Rocks Week 2026 — and the Best Dressed competition absolutely *delivered*!

We simply couldn’t go past our two gorgeous ladies taking out the top spot. Total rockabilly queens, head-to-toe fabulous… and yes — the iconic phone handbag that actually works as a real phone stole the show! How cool is that?! 📞✨

Park Manager Darren even had to chase them down just to grab this winning photo — talk about rock star energy on the move! And as if the moment needed any more magic… the skies literally showed off with a rainbow appearing right on cue. 🌈🎶

A huge and well-deserved admirable mention goes to Julie and Allan, who have been absolutely *wowing* us all week with their incredible rock n roll inspired outfits as well as their amazing van. Pure class, pure dedication, pure Cooly spirit. 👗🕶️

What an incredible week we’ve had here at Kirra Beach Tourist Park during the amazing energy of Cooly Rocks On!

With so many outstanding vehicles on display this year, the decision was anything but easy. Every entrant brought something special, and the quality across the board was seriously impressive.

After plenty of careful consideration, our very special guest judge — Mr M (12 years old) — had the final say… and he couldn’t go past **“Boogie Nights”** as this year’s winner! 🚗✨

A huge congratulations to the owner of Boogie Nights on taking out Best Hot Rod / Show Car for the week!

What a paw-some morning we had yesterday at our Cooly Rocks Hound Dog Hangout! 🤘🐶

A huge THANK YOU to all the gorgeous, well-behaved pups (and their humans) who stopped by for a free dog treat and puppacino. From rockabilly rebels to four-legged superstars, every single one of you brought the good vibes and had tails wagging all morning long! 🎶🐾

Now, about our Best Dressed Competition... how were we supposed to pick just one winner?! 😍

After much deliberation, our judges simply couldn't separate these rock stars:

🏆 Cutie & Bentley (with Mum Karen getting in on the action and stealing a little spotlight herself!)
🏆 Riley the gorgeous Dalmatian, rocking that bandana like a true headliner

A huge congratulations to the winners of our Best Dressed Van/Site Competition during Cooly Rocks On Week!

This year's winning display truly stood out, featuring fantastic artwork of Elvis and Marilyn that perfectly captured the glamour, nostalgia, and rock 'n' roll spirit of the event. The attention to detail, creativity, and effort that went into decorating the van/site was outstanding and made it a favourite among judges and visitors alike.

Julie and Allan have been coming to Cooly Rocks for 20 plus years. Not only are they experts in decorating their van, but the costumes these two put out for Cooly Rocks is impressive!!!!
