If youโ€™re after something quieter with your mates, Surprise Creek Falls is a solid pick. ๐Ÿ™Œ
The track can be rough, but it leads to clear, flowing water and natural rock pools. Worth it if youโ€™re keen to avoid the crowds. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Gunlom Falls has opened! ๐Ÿคฉโ›บ๐Ÿš—

It's one of Kakadu National Park's most picturesque waterholes, with an infinity pool overlooking the national park.

Following the completion of infrastructure repairs and land management activities, access to the site has opened today to high clearance 4WD only.

Crocodile management activities are continuing and visitors are asked to please strictly adhere to safety signage and stay within the fenced areas. The area will be monitored by Kakadu staff to ensure the safety of visitors.

The opening of Gunlom is great news for tourism operators, visitors and locals looking to explore our region's stunning landscapes. There's also plenty of tour experiences and Aboriginal cultural sites to visit right across Kakadu.
