The Hotel Australia in Corowa was built in 1893 and has operated as a significant venue in the town's history, including the site of the 1893 Corowa Federation Conference banquet where Sir Henry Parkes stayed for his visit. Initially known as the Bridge Inn, the original structure was destroyed by fire, and the current building, construct

ed by Mrs. Mary Chenhall towards the end of the 19th century, was a substantial establishment. The hotel was briefly taken over by the Air Force in 1942 and has continued as a hotel, with its recent history including a prominent Stone grill restaurant and hosting the annual Federation Conference. The original structure had its current art deco makeover in the 1930's and the architecture still remains today. We offer a delicious variety of pub food from our amazing chef Cain and kitchen staff, including the only Stone grill/hot rock in the region. Come in for a meal or a beer and a chat with our lovely staff.
