Due to a planned power outage on Wednesday the 18th of March, our kitchen will be closed for dinner service that day. Lunch will be as normal.

Due to a large function this evening, please be advised that the resturaunt will not be accepting any walk ins or further bookings for meals for this evening (Thursday).

Bar will be open for drinks as usual, however, no meal orders will be taken there either.

Only 2 more sleeps; can you believe it!

If you can find some time amidst the Christmas shopping you haven't done yet (you and I both know it's true, don't look at me like that), then please stop on by for a drink with us before Christmas.

We are open on Christmas Eve all day for regular bar and meal service, so if you can't be bothered to cook two nights in a row, we'd be happy to help you pretend you don't have 4 million things to do the next day, if only for a little while.

PLEASE NOTE: The venue will be closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day, in order prevent a staff rebellion. We will be back open as usual on the 27th.

Will you be dining with us this Christmas period?

With the busy season upon us, we are of course busier than normal, especially with Christmas breakups throughout December.

If you plan to have a Christmas breakup with us, or even a small get together, we advise you to give us a call and book ahead. We already have several evenings and lunches booked out over the next few weeks, and we'd hate to have to turn away any of our wonderful patrons simply because we were at capacity.

BARRIERS ARE DRAWN, BETTING IS OPEN NOW!

Melbourne Cup is this Tuesday, 4th of November, though we highly recommend coming in the days prior to place your bets, as our betting terminals are limited and our punters will be many!

Our staff will be avaliable to help you place bets if you're unsure; anyone can have a go! (except your children; they will be placed in the boring, no-gambling corner instead)

Our Hotel will be open from 9am tuesday only for punting, and the bar will be open for drinks from 10am.

Meals will be 12-2pm, and 6-8pm, as usual.

We are on the lookout for a Cook to join our team.

Must have experience in a busy kitchen, food safety certificate, be able to work well with others, and keep a level head when the pressure is on.

Cleanliness and attention to detail is a must.

Approximately 30 hrs per week, however, a fulltime position could be made avaliable to the right applicant.
