🍴 Our Favourite Jindabyne Eats 🍴

One of our bests things about hosting guests at Andrea's White House is sharing the incredible local food scene.
Just a 15-minute drive away, Jindabyne offers shops, services, cafes, restaurants and plenty of places to relax and enjoy a meal with family and friends.
One of the joys of visiting the Snowy Mountains is discovering the wonderful local food experiences right on our doorstep – some are quite unexpected!
Here are three of our personal favorites. There are far too many to mention, but these are a wonderful place to start.

🌮 Cocina
📍 Shop 15 / 33 Kosciuszko Road, Jindabyne (Old Shopping Centre)
Guests often tell us this is one of their favourite dining experiences.
Mexican food in the Snowy Mountains – who would have thought? Cocina delivers contemporary Mexican flavours in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

🥘 Café Darya
📍 Shop 3, Level 2, Snowy Mountains Plaza, Jindabyne
A true Jindabyne institution.
For more than 20 years, Café Darya has been serving its unique Persian-inspired menu to locals and visitors alike. We've known this business since it first opened and it remains one of our favourite dining experiences in the region.
Note: BYO and cash only. Bookings are essential.

☕ Birchwood Jindabyne
📍 Shop 3, 3 Gippsland Street, Jindabyne
A favourite with both locals and visitors, Birchwood offers wonderful coffee, breakfast, and lunch options seven days a week.
It's the perfect place to fuel up before a day exploring the Snowy Mountains or heading to the ski fields.
They also offer home catering if you'd like to enjoy a special meal without spending time in the kitchen.

Winter has arrived in the Snowy Mountains ❄️

June can be one of the best times to visit.

The ski season is beginning, the mountains are beautiful, and there is often a little more space to slow down and enjoy the region before the busier winter months.

Stay a little longer. Sleep in. Share meals with family and friends. Visit our wonderful local Crackenback restaurants and distillery. Take a walk, enjoy nature, and simply relax for a while.

❄️ Winter in the Snowy Mountains is just around the corner ❄️

We’ve had an unexpected cancellation at The Residence (Andrea’s White House, Crackenback - accommodation to sleep 10 guests in comfort and style - fully self contained ) for a 3-night stay from Friday 12 June to Monday 15 June.

Early June is a beautiful, quieter time to experience the mountains before the peak season rush. While Mother Nature decides on the snow coverage, that magical first-winter energy is always in the air. It’s the perfect excuse for a cosy getaway with extended family or close friends—made a little sweeter with a 10% discount we’ve applied to these dates.
