The Stedman family would like to invite you to join them this Saturday, May 30th at Crescent Head as they say goodbye to their Shane.
Shane was a legend of Australian surf culture — a shaper, a storyteller, and a mate to so many. He grew up barefoot in Crescent Head, loved the ocean his whole life, and returned here in his final years exactly as he always was — warm, funny, and full of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, none more than his beloved children Bonnie and Luke.
They’d love to see you there — in colour, in good spirits, and ready to paddle out together one last time.
Saturday May 30th — Crescent Head SLSC
11:00am — Memorial Service
12:00pm — Paddle Out
1:00pm — Refreshments at the Beach Club
Bring a board if you have one, and some colourful flowers to cast into the ocean. Learn the chorus to Show Me the Way to Go Home so everyone can sing together on the water.
