📣 WE’RE HIRING — TWO CASUAL POSITIONS
The Criterion Hotel Crookwell is looking for a Barista and a Senior Waitstaff / Front of House team member to join us for an immediate start.
Training will be provided, but our venue can get extremely busy and training is largely hands-on and learnt as you go. Previous experience is strongly preferred for both positions.
☕ BARISTA
Morning shifts available Monday–Sunday, generally from approximately 6:15am–10:15am.
The role includes:
• Opening and closing the coffee bar
• Taking orders and payments
• Making and serving coffee
• Preparing basic food such as toasties
• Baking slices and other café items
• Confidently managing the coffee bar independently when required
🍽️ SENIOR WAITSTAFF / FRONT OF HOUSE — 18+
Lunch and dinner shifts available Monday–Sunday.
The role includes:
• Taking customer orders
• Making pizzas and salads
• Running meals and clearing tables
• Washing up
• General front-of-house and bistro duties
This position would suit someone who has finished school, has previous hospitality experience and can transition into the role quickly.
Both positions are casual. Regular weekend availability is required, but you will not necessarily be expected to work every weekend. Hours will depend on your availability, experience and ability to work independently—the sooner you’re confident working independently, the more hours may be available.
Training can begin immediately.
