Well with a somewhat sad undertone but exciting feel, I bring news of the sale of the Country Way Motor Inn. Dhanesh Sharma and his family will take ownership of the business as of today and I wish them all the luck of the west as they embark on this new journey.

I decided 5 years ago with the help of my then partner to take a huge step into the unknown and purchase this vibrant little motel in my home town. Unfortunately with things not working out the way we want sometimes in life I’m our personal arena we must recognise the need for change and with that I decided to let the next person take a shot at making this little place their home.

I’m sure the community and guests alike will get behind the new owner operators and continue to have a comfortable stay at the Country Way.

Thank you to my employees over the past five years; Emily,Barb, Shazma, Kuai, Chicko, and others. Along with of course the family members who were always willing to give a hand (as with small business it’s always a team effort) you’ll not be forgotten; Tom, Cheese, Brock, Robert, Nicky, Paul.

Are you wanting to start your own business or perhaps looking for somewhere affordable to settle with your family. The Paroo Shire in South West Queensland has an extreme shortage of service providers to cater for the community. Further businesses are also needed to support the Hot Springs & Spa (due for completion later this year) which include a laundry service, and cleaning providers.

Hey Cunnamulla, we are getting busier and busier in town and we currently looking for a housekeeper to help us on our busy days working alongside our long time worker Barb.
We need someone who takes pride in their cleaning and can help make our rooms spotless and dust free, reliable and can come to work on short notice.
Must be physically fit and be able to make beds with neat hospital corners.
Monday to Friday with a start time of 8:30am 😊
