First job ticked off the list post cyclone Jasper: fallen tree removal and mulching along our 300m driveway! The side of our driveway was littered with fallen trees, branches and debris and now she’s looking cleaner thanks to the tree loppers! 😃

Sometimes you need to disconnect to reconnect Daintree Escape is completely off grid! We utilise the abundance of sunshine we have up here in tropical Far North Queensland, with solar power, combined with multiple water catchment systems for the rain. We have minimal phone and internet reception which makes it the ideal getaway if you are truly wanting to rest, reconnect and revitalise 🌺🌴🌿🌸

Here he is harassing our neighbours cattle 🐄 He is a cheeky one and can often be seen roaming around the farm in search of tropical fruit and berries. Maybe you will get lucky and see Frankie during your next visit 🥰🌴

Like most of the Daintree Rainforest community, our little farm was hit by cyclone Jasper just before Christmas 2023. And while we didn’t get hit as hard as a lot of people and places in the area, we do have a big clean up ahead of us! Our accommodation opening has been postponed for now but fingers crossed we can still open this year! Follow our progress and updates here and thank you for your patience 🥰🌴🌿
