In keeping with this pristine piece of paradise, we run hydro-electric and solar power , keeping your carbon footprint minimal. The large veranda is the perfect place for viewing the rainforest with it’s tropical gardens and Ulysses butterflies and the iridescent blooms surrounding the waterfalls and sparkling natural swimming pool. The waterfalls and the deep crystal clear pool will surely entice you in for a swim. Our crystal clear mountain stream flows right in front of the deck and around the house. Teeming with wild jungle perch and water fresh of the third highest mountain in Queensland… Daintree Secrets is the only property with all of this right off your veranda

The house is fully furnished with 3 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms, open plan living/kitchen area and the panoramic deck . All linen is provided (including beach towels for swimming) along with tea, coffee and a fridge full of condiments. The house has a TV, DVD and CD player along with a library of DVD’s and CD’s for your enjoyment. However, there is no cable television or internet, one of the joys of this pristine paradise. Activities in this area are plentiful and include scenic walks, hiking, guided nature trails, crocodile tours, swimming, sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, reef fishing and much more. But then again, why would you leave when it's so relaxing by the waterfalls? On all previous guests feedback, a minimum of 3 nights is necessary to see and do most things in the area. .
