If you're still chasing a bed — we're booked out, and so is most of the region by now. But a few things worth knowing if you're driving in:

📍 Darlington Point is 35 minutes south of Griffith. Good place to stop, stretch, fill up and get a feed at the Punt before you push on into town.

🌊 The Murrumbidgee is right there if you want a swim or somewhere to sit for half an hour after a long drive.

🚗 The practical stuff: four to six hours from Melbourne, Canberra or Sydney. Roos are active at dawn and dusk and there'll be a lot of unfamiliar drivers on these roads Saturday evening. Sunday morning is the one that catches people — long empty stretches, not enough sleep, a big day behind you. Pull over if you need to.

🧡 Altina is proud to announce the arrival of one precious little meerkat baby! 🥰

This adorable little one may make a special appearance during one of the Behind the Scenes Tours—if it chooses to come out and say hello! 🐾

For now, the newest arrival is not yet out on exhibit for regular day-to-day tours, but we’re sure you’ll agree this little face is absolutely worth getting excited about! 😍

🌊 MURRUMBIDGEE RIVER AT DARLINGTON POINT – RIVER UPDATE! 🌊

EVERYONE HAS BEEN LOVING A RIVER UPDATE! 💙

The river has risen again and is flowing strongly through Darlington Point.

The jetty at the boat ramp is currently underwater and inaccessible, and the beach is now fully submerged.

It’s certainly an impressive sight to see the mighty Murrumbidgee flowing like this! 🌊
