The area is part of South East Queensland's beautiful Scenic Rim and is a great base from which to explore this unique and spectacular part of the world. Set against the spectacular scenery of the surrounding mountains and rainforest, caravan, motorhome and camping enthusiasts regularly flock to the excellent camp grounds situated on banks of the picturesque Albert River. becues are provided, however there are no showers or electricity and visitors must bring their own water. Sensational for families, this well-shaded campground has the added bonus of a cricket oval and kids playground on a glorious 12 ha site. The kiosk is handy for basic supplies, including ice, firewood and ice creams.

QFD has announced a fire ban for the Scenic Rim. No fires will be permitted in the park from 0001hrs Thursday 2nd of October until 2359hrs Tuesday 7th of October. Gas and electric BBQS are permitted.
