The Darwin Christmas Pageant will be back this year, and we are excited to be a part of it again! 🎅

We've managed the Darwin Christmas Pageant for City of Darwin since 2022, overseeing event programming and logistics alongside Kellaborate who do a brilliant job managing participant registration.

Next week, the Agentur team is heading down to Adelaide to manage One Fire Many Flames, a national symposium bringing together 200 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, service providers, researchers, and policymakers. The event centres Blak excellence in nurturing and strengthening Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, from preconception through early years and beyond.

Over the past 12 months, we've worked closely with the Conference Committee, a group of over 15 members, to shape a program that reflects their values and goals.

At Agentur, we're passionate about supporting events like this one. Those that centre and strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, culture and self-determination.

We're looking forward to meeting many of the committee members in person for the first time, and delivering the two-day program on the ground.

It was great catching up with Thilin and Ramona at DoubleTree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin last week.

This is where we book a lot of our conference attendees to stay when in Darwin. Located on the Esplanade facing the harbour, it's just a few minutes from the Darwin Convention Centre and the city centre. Rooms are spacious with desks for catching up on work, and there's a great outdoor pool to enjoy in the warm afternoons.

There’s only a few nights left to soak up Darwin Festival before it closes on August 22.

If you haven’t already, stop by the Night Quarter. It’s open Wednesday through Saturday, located across the street from Festival Park beside the Town Hall Ruins.

There you’ll find Asia-inspired cocktails, rooftop seating, DJs, roving performances, and food by Angkor Takeaway. We were there over the weekend and the freshly grilled whole squid was delicious!

Managing the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Awards over the weekend was a true highlight for us, as was coordinating the Artist BBQ and Telstra After Party.

With only 1.5 hours to flip the space following the awards ceremony, we worked with Allaboutpartyhire Darwin to transform Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory's Saltwater at Bundilla into a gorgeous nighttime space. Out came the wooden tables, in came lit-up food stations, fresh furniture, and lighting.

The night was all about supporting Indigenous artists, so we made sure to include original centrepiece sculptures created by E&B arts and crafts.
