The Spa at Lake House introduces Acqua Vital Lymphatic Ritual — a deeply restorative treatment designed to support the body under the pressures of modern life, including stress, inflammation, fluid retention and nervous system fatigue.

Featherlight strokes across dry skin stimulate the lymphatic system, supporting circulation and creating a sense of lightness, while warm botanical compresses, dry brushing, mineral foot wraps and a scalp massage guide the body into deep stillness.

Some producers don’t need to shout.
has never had to.

For over five decades, this quiet, north-facing slope in the heart of the Yarra Valley has produced wines of uncommon finesse, wines that collectors pursue, restaurants covet, and those fortunate enough to encounter rarely forget. This August, on Saturday the 29th, we welcome Mount Mary to Lake House for a long, unhurried afternoon in the Waterfront Pavilion.

Their four estate wines remain anchored in French tradition: the Bordeaux-style Quintet and Triolet, and a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that speak unmistakably of the Yarra Valley. All fruit estate grown. All wine produced and bottled on site.

With just 30 seats, this is an intimate afternoon, a multi-course chef’s menu from the Lake House kitchen, each course paired to the wines, in a setting that feels made for exactly this kind of occasion.

Each Friday throughout winter, local pianist and songstress Helen Davey takes her place at Florentine, our grand piano, filling the room with silky jazz and timeless melodies. After decades performing between Australia and Switzerland, Helen brings warmth, elegance and a little nostalgia to the start of every weekend.

Whether you're joining us for a long lunch, checking in for the weekend, or arriving early for dinner, settle into a leather armchair, order a martini, and let the week slip away.

A Winter Lunch for Two
Special Menu – Friday Lunch
June | July | August

Our winter Friday lunch menu for two includes: O’Connors 4-week dry aged Rib Eye (600g); condiments; two seasonal sides featuring our Dairy Flat farm produce; the much loved slow fermented spelt sourdough from our bakehouse with whipped butter. Paired with a glass of wine from one of our premium local vignerons, we’ll be featuring a different maker each week.

Settle in and enjoy the winter landscape through the vast windows towards the lake.

Additional daily items are available for your selection. Book a group and enjoy a leisurely lunch together. Retreat to the library for post lunch drinks.

Some winemakers arrive through tradition.
Sierra Reed arrived through curiosity, and her wines reflect it: alive, expressive, and deeply considered.

Her story —
Begins not in a cellar, but in front of a camera.
While filming with Family of Twelve in New Zealand, Sierra spent time interviewing leading winemaking families. Somewhere in those conversations, she realised she didn’t just want to tell wine stories, she wanted to make them.
She put the camera down and picked up a vintage.

The Lunch —
This August, join us at Lake House for a long winter lunch in the Waterfront Pavilion, unhurried, generous, and built around conversation, wine and seasonal food.
A shared winter feast from the Lake House kitchen will be paired with wines from the Reed portfolio, with Sierra guiding each pour and sharing the stories behind them.
