A walking weekend at Kings Cottage 😊

Friday

Cross the road and enjoy a walk around Lake Daylesford after check-in. Pick up a takeaway coffee along the way.

Walk to Bar Merenda for pre-dinner drinks and dinner at the Bistro for a gently paced and generous set menu.

As you settle into the weekend, relax and enjoy our enormous spa baths with mineral salts provided.

Sleep in King suites with luxurious linen, multiple pillow choices and 5* comfort and use the electric blanket for those extra chilly nights.

Saturday

An indulgent breakfast hamper awaits.

Take a walk to Tipperary Springs or Sutton Mineral Springs, immerse yourself in nature with easy grade walking tracks. All walking distance from the cottage or walk to town and enjoy some shopping, visit galleries, or enjoy another coffee at the many cafés in town.

Walk to The Boathouse for lunch when hunger calls.

Walk to The Spa at Lake House across the road from Kings Cottage and enjoy a treatment.

Relax at home with a roaring fire and watch the sunset hues setting the cottage ablaze with colour.

Saturday night dinner – experience the two hatted Lake House Restaurant or the seasonal menu at Sault Restaurant just a short drive away – both destination venues for food enthusiasts. Or with your freshly bought produce, cook up a feast in our fully equipped kitchen.

Sunday

Wake up to a leisurely morning, coffee awaits and your breakfast hamper.

After checking out, just because you’re not ready to leave, visit the Daylesford Sunday Market before heading home.
