We had a really special visitor at camp this morning!

Many people don't know that we have a Koala Park in nearby Creswick. The Koala Park was established in the 1940s by members of the School of Forestry as a breeding ground for koalas.

Fences were constructed to keep them contained, however the koalas were able to climb the fences and soon dispersed into the surrounding forest.

We know it’s easy for us to say that our school camps are great… but you don’t have to take our word for it! 😊
We want you to hear it straight from the teachers who have experienced camp with us.
From the activities and accommodation to the food, staff and all those little things that make a school camp memorable, here’s what teachers really think about their time at one of our Log Cabin Camp venues.

Real teachers. Real experiences. Honest opinions.

What a fantastic term it has been! We’ve loved welcoming both familiar and new faces from the many schools that have visited us over the past few months.

This term, we’ve seen students step outside their comfort zones, tackle challenges head-on, and show incredible resilience along the way. From trying new activities to supporting their peers, it’s been inspiring to watch their confidence grow. Most importantly, there has been no shortage of laughter, fun, and unforgettable memories.

We wish everyone a safe and relaxing holiday break and can’t wait to see what adventures, growth, and joy next term will bring!

There’s nothing quite like waking up at camp to the sound of the kookaburra calling through the trees.

They’re regular visitors here, especially in the early morning—perched nearby, laughing their way into the day. It’s one of those simple, unforgettable camp moments that never gets old.
