Asian nights on Friday and Saturday were very successful. Lots of locals dropped in to enjoy the delicious Asian meals and a drink from the bar.
General consensus was that the food was awesome.
Watch for our announcement of regular Asian meals every Friday night

Well we have gone the miles, done the distance and now it's time to say adieu and goodbye.
Johanna and I have sold the motel and are looking forward to "so called" retirement. It will be hard to leave after 6 1/2 years and we will be leaving a lot of memories and good friends behind. We like to thank you all, staff, customers and suppliers. We also hope that you will give your support to the new owners: Geoff and Mary Lou Pfeiffer from NSW.
As this will be "our" last message on facebook we again like to thank all of you and wish you well.

Well we had a weekend with "old ladies". The Vintage Car Club was in the motel and restaurant and had a wonderful time. It is so good to see these old ladies with their proud owners. It is a privilege to see a bygone era and it is fantastic how the owners look after their vehicles. It is also good for the new generations to see how transport use to be. Just look at the interiors how simple it was.

Well another year has flown by or is it me getting older that time seems to go faster.
Johanna, Peter and staff wishing all their guests and friends a very pleasant Christmas and a healthy and happy 2017.
We would also like to advise that our restaurant will be closed on Christmas Day whilst our staff enjoy some time with their own families. We'll be back at 6pm on Boxing Day.

Well Craft Fair has been and gone. What a busy weekend.
Stallholders were very happy with the weather as well as their takings as most of them went up on last year. We believe there were also more people about than the previous years. Anyway all-round everybody was happy and so it should be. Thank you to all those people who were guests at our motel and restaurant. Most of them have booked for next year so we will see them again.
