Just a note to say farewell to all our BBH guests and friends, we have appreciated your support over 19 years. However our beautiful beach house has now been sold and we have left the property.

The good news is Bruny Beach House will continue to be holiday accommodation business with bookings through Airbnb.

Do you live in Geelong and surrounding areas? Are you interested in solar power or battery storage?

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Geelong+ Community Solar Program.

This rollout is managed by Geelong Sustainability, and delivered by program partners RACV Solar and Mondo with their local workforce.

This is Fiona, our first happy customer, who installed solar on her lovely home in Birregurra.

Supported by all 5 councils in the G21 region (City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast, Queenscliffe, Colac Otway and Golden Plains), this program provides peace of mind for anyone looking to invest in solar or battery storage.

This rollout is the largest of its kind in Australia, covering 9,000km2 and 370,000 residents.

Already have solar? You can also add a battery to your system, and join the Geelong Community Virtual Power Plant (VPP).

We are also donating one solar panel for every system purchased through the program, and installing it on selected community groups and NFP organisations. If we supply 500 systems through this program, that equates to 200kW worth of projects being donated to the community!
