📍House of arras

We have been to House of Arras twice and have loved it both times! ~70 min drive from us here in Derby, their ‘Sparkling Scholar’ masterclass is both very informative and engaging. They teach you all about the history of the winery and the different wines they produce.

They produce Australia’s most awarded sparkling wine and have just been announced to have had a perfect 100- point score rating on one of their vintage wines! The first time this has been awarded to a wine outside of Champange….. anyways all this to say they have absolutely delicious wine 🍾🥂

You do have to book this one ahead of time.

Only an hour from Derby, this cellar door has a beautiful venue, knowledgeable staff and delicious sparkling wines… what more can you ask for?

Staying in Derby and wondering where to eat?

The Hub Derby serves up very good wood-fired pizzas and has become a true local staple. It’s an easy stroll from the house, perfect after a day exploring or a big one out on the trails.

Liz (your host) also works there casually, so you might spot a familiar face behind the counter.

Bookings are recommended, especially on busy weekends, though walk-ins are always welcome.
