"We found that the added extras that were in the unit for us helped to make us feel right at home and that we were welcome for as long as we wanted to stay.Our hostess left us a note to say "just to go on in and was not concerned about making sure we paid immediately on arrival. She had left out plenty of information so we did not have to worry about getting to the information centre and told us much local information as well. We were sorry to have to leave here and be on our way and we will make sure that if of our friends decide to head down this way we will tell them all about Alice By The Sea as the cost was more than reasonable and offered value for your money with no strings attached."

We enjoyed walking on the bike path along the foreshore, and watching the ferries come and go. Devonport is a good base for exploring other areas. "

"Pleasant location close to the beach and the ferry. Warm and generous hosts made us very comfortable. Great spot to stay when you get off the ferry, before embarking on the rest of your Tassie trip, although a little distance from the centre of town for getting a meal etc. "
