🚨 URGENT: Help Us Take the Fight to the International Community – Contact Global Animal Welfare Organisations and Influencers to Save Our Brumbies 🚨
The culling has begun, but our fight for Australia's brumbies must not end here.
Many of us have written to Australian media outlets, contacted politicians, signed petitions, attended rallies, and tried everything possible to raise awareness. Yet it feels as though there has been very little media coverage of what many Australians view as one of the largest and most controversial brumby culls in our nation's history.
Whether through lack of interest or deliberate avoidance, it appears that very few people outside our brumby community know what is happening.
The next step is clear: we need INTERNATIONAL ATTENTION.
Governments and decision-makers are far more likely to listen when the world is watching. We need international animal welfare organisations, horse welfare groups, conservation experts, celebrities, influencers, journalists, and politicians to hear what is happening and help amplify our concerns.
Please join me in writing to as many international organisations and public figures as possible. Ask them to investigate, speak out, issue public statements, contact the NSW Government, and help spread awareness about the aerial shooting of Australia's wild brumbies.
Whether you are in Australia or overseas, your voice matters.

📧 SUGGESTED LETTER
Subject: Please Help Us Save Australia's Brumbies – Stop the Barbaric Cull
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you with a heartfelt plea for help.
On 9 June, the aerial culling of wild brumbies in New South Wales, Australia commenced. The operation is scheduled to continue until 30 June, during which the intention is to shoot thousands of wild horses from helicopters in remote areas of the Australian High Country.
Right now, thousands of Australians are devastated by what is taking place. Many of us feel helpless as we watch horses that have roamed Australia's high country for generations being targeted in an operation that many believe is both cruel and unnecessary.
For many Australians, this is not simply a wildlife management issue. These horses are part of our nation's history, heritage, and identity. They have inspired generations through stories, literature, and life in the Australian bush.
To many of us, they are treasured symbols of freedom, resilience, and the pioneering spirit that helped shape our country.
We are deeply concerned about the welfare implications of aerial shooting. Many people fear that horses may be wounded rather than killed instantly, that foals may be separated from their mothers, and that suffering may occur in terrain where independent observation is difficult. Whether or not one supports population management, many Australians believe these concerns deserve serious consideration.
What is particularly distressing is the feeling that our voices are not being heard. Despite thousands of concerned citizens speaking out, writing letters, signing petitions, attending rallies, and contacting government representatives, many of us feel that the issue has received little attention outside our immediate community.
That is why we are reaching out beyond Australia's borders.
We respectfully ask for your help in bringing international attention to this issue while there is still time. A public statement, media coverage, expert review, social media post, or any effort to raise awareness could make an enormous difference. We hope that increased scrutiny may encourage decision-makers to reconsider the current approach and fully explore humane alternatives, including fertility control, trapping and rehoming programs, adoption initiatives, and other non-lethal management strategies.
We are simply asking that compassion, transparency, and animal welfare be placed at the centre of decisions affecting these magnificent animals.
Please help us ensure that the plight of Australia's brumbies is not ignored and that the world is made aware of what is happening in Australia's High Country.
On behalf of countless Australians who care deeply about these horses, thank you for taking the time to read this letter and consider our appeal.
Yours sincerely,

The brumbies have no voice of their own.
We must be that voice.
