Heya everyone,
On April 26th, 2024, Diamond Beach Resort will close its doors to the public. It’s been an amazing, challenging and immensely rewarding 12-year journey and I’m thankful every day for the opportunity to have run this beautiful little resort.
In particular, the last 4 years has seen the business flourish and receive a consistent stream of 5-star reviews. My son Matt has been a star manager and together, we’ve had a hoot. I couldn’t have done it without him ❤️
For you guys who are part of the Diamond Beach Resort Family, it has been a privilege to share this hidden gem with you, to welcome you back year after year, to watch your families grow up and to develop friendships that I cherish. To everyone else who has stayed here, it has been my pleasure to host you all as well.
And a heartfelt thank you to my people. Family is not an important thing… It is everything. Without the dedication, love and stoic support of my wonderful Mumma and the selfless contributions on many levels, from my 2 beautiful daughters Riana & Sarah, I would not have been able to weather the storm.
As for me, it’s time to close the gates, pull up a hammock and enjoy the endless clear skies.
I will miss you all, but not enough to keep working 😂
