Buloke Shire Council to CANCEL Esoteric Festival.

Buloke Shire Council has called a Special meeting for Monday the 3rd of March at 5.00pm to refuse a Planning Permit for the running of Esoteric Festival

The Festival has been running for many years and is the BIGGEST event
not only in Buloke Shire Council but Visit Wimmera Mallee tourism area.

The impact on the Donald community and the wider Buloke area will be immense.

Donald 2000 supporters are asked to contact their local Councillors to seek their support for the retention of Esoteric Festival.

Esoteric Festival is scheduled to commence on the 7th of March, Buloke Shire Council have had a considerable amount of time to process the Planning Permit and without being cynical one could believe that with all tickets sold and people travelling from not only around Australia but Internationally to attend the Festival, Council's actions could be designed to inflict the greatest harm on the organisers, the local community and the tourism economy of Buloke and Visit Wimmera Mallee.
