Every time a guest tells us Hidden Grove gave them a place to truly switch off, breathe out, and reconnect, it reminds us exactly why we do this.

We’ve been so moved by the kind words lately — guests finding peace in the quiet, joy in the hot tub under the stars, and comfort in the little touches like fresh firewood and a jar of our own honey waiting for them. Knowing that people leave feeling more relaxed than when they arrived is the biggest compliment we could ask for.

🍯 Fresh from the hive — our very first harvest of jarrah honey here at Hidden Grove Retreat!

This batch has come straight from our new hives on the property, and we couldn't be prouder of the result. Rich, dark and full of character — a true taste of Ferguson Valley.

Even the styling is homegrown: the wildflowers and olive branches you see here were picked straight from our own grounds, just steps from where the jars were filled.

Harvest season in the olive grove.

This season we got our hands dirty, picked what was there, and made a plan. The trees are going under the pruning shears this winter. We’re starting from scratch, doing it properly, and next season we’re aiming to press our first batch of Hidden Grove extra virgin olive oil.

It takes time to do things right. We’re okay with that.

We’ve been busy at Hidden Grove.

Every chalet has been completely refurnished from the ground up. New beds, new linen, new couches, new outdoor settings, Weber BBQs, large screen TVs — and yes, the firewood is already stacked and ready to go.

We didn’t just replace what was here. We rebuilt it around one idea: that when you arrive, everything should feel exactly right.

The first rain of the season has arrived in the Ferguson Valley. The dams are full, the forest is green, and there’s a fire waiting for you.

The first big rain of the season has arrived at Hidden Grove — and the property is drinking it in.

The dam is full, the olives are fat, and the Grey Teal are making themselves very much at home. After months of dry, there’s something quietly electric about watching a place come back to life.

Turns out our olive grove comes with its own security guard — and he is very serious about his job. No unauthorised aircraft permitted.

We’ve been here less than a week and the property is already showing us what it’s made of.

A Red-tailed Black Cockatoo perched at golden hour. The sun pushing through the Jarrah forest at first light. A winter frost on the olive grove before anyone else was awake.

This place doesn’t need much encouragement to be extraordinary. It just needs someone paying attention.

We’re paying attention. 🌿
