Self contained accomodation,
R/C air con/heating, log fires, coffee machine, spa bath, deep claw foot bath, modern bathrooms, country/coastal style, large solar heated swimming pool, large pond, ducks, chickens, sheep, alpacas. Mostly suitable for adults for a relaxing time away from the hectic day to day grind! We do not cater for children's activities but they are most welcome.

Chook food & a few visitors last week before the rain! Spring has sprung! Time to get stuck into the vege patch!

Well, it's all happening. Our first spring lamb is 2 weeks old and thriving (one night feed, thank goodness!) Shes almost ready for the paddock now that she's nibbling in grass
Then little Maple had a black head Persian girl, a twin, sadly the boy was gone by the time I checked on them.
Then just now, Ginny had a beautiful little tri colour dilute Persian girl.

And.... in goes another paddock. Summer isn't go I ng to be nice to us this year so we have been preparing for el nino. See what happens!

Set up the crate for Mini...the lamb but Winkle (cat) decided it was a great spot for her and the lamb is asleep at my feet! And Bentley, well he's just chilled!

Adrian has been busy with his blacksmith craft and made a Lyrebird bird bath. The crias have grown so much in 4 weeks and the birds are enjoying the long awaited sunny days!

A lovely little suprise this afternoon.
Story- we adopted Fred, a white alpaca who was found laying next to his paddock mate girlfriend, deceased and decaying. The people who owned him had to move from their home due to a house fire and left the alpacas in their paddock. It was a very stressful and dramatic time, catching Fred and putting him in our trailer to bring him home, but once in and tied safely, he lay in the trailer all the way home for 1.5 hours. An absolute dream! Three months later, Fred decided he didn't want me in the paddock when my persians were giving birth left right & centre. He would spit at me and jump at me. So we rehomed him to a neighbours farm. They had lost their white male that summer and happily took him. He's doing well!
9 months later and this little boy is born, the spitting image of his dad!
His name is Leeroy after the young lady who just checked in and found her! Her name is Paige, but being a male alpaca, mum suggested Paige's middle name- Lee....
I compromised with Leeroy!
He will be desexed and live here happily with his Granny, Mumma, Aunty Tiara & Mum Lucy!
I wonder if we might have 2 more on the way yet!
