Happy first day of spring! And out our way, that means one thing: the wildflowers are waking up.

The Wheatbelt puts on a proper show this time of year. Head out to Tarin Rock and the North Tarin Rock Nature Reserves, and you'll find carpets of colour rolling across one of the most biodiverse pockets in the whole southwest. It's a wildflower hunter's dream, and it's right on our doorstep.

So make a weekend of it. Pull in for free camping (caravan friendly, with toilets and showers), or settle into one of our comfy heritage rooms if you'd rather have a proper bed. Spend your days chasing blooms and your evenings by the bar with a hot meal and a cold drink.

Spring's the best time to visit, so don't let it pass you by.

A country pub is only as good as its community. Since taking over, the new owners have been quietly doing the work: Local employment, local suppliers, community nights, and a front door that's always open. The Dumbleyung Inn isn't just a pub. It's a place that belongs to this town.

Home and away season now done and dusted, we move into the business end of the season.

A grade finish the season in second and will tackle Narrogin next week in the second semi final, a win seeing them advance straight into the grand final.

B grade finish the season in fourth and will take on Wagin next weekend in the first semi final, it will be a do or die with a win required to stay alive in season 2026.
