It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing our retirement from trail bike tours effective today.
This has not been an easy decision for us, but it has been decided that it is our best option.
After 19 years in business we have managed to create dozens of hilarious stories, 100’s of friends and 1000’s of memories, as well as being featured in numerous motorcycle magazines and having a segment on getaway, making for a terrific career for us, it’s had ups and downs but we have rode the waves just like the trails that sustained us, we have had many repeat customers, these groups have been the lifeblood for us and if it weren’t for them we never would have been able to last this long,
As well as a terrific support crew that has changed and grown over the years, from our back up vehicle drivers and our sweep/ lead riders.
Our move away from Barrington Tops Trail Bike Adventures has come for a number of reasons.
Glen and I are not as young and sprite as we used to be, so the work that goes into one of our weekends is very taxing on us both.
As well as new new addition to you family in a grandchild we want to spend more time with.
All of those things made this decision the right decision, however the main reason for us has been,
Our goal for our business has always been, to give our customers the very best experience they could possibly have whilst being great value for money, to which we believe we have been very successful at doing, we have always tried to, where possible to not pass on the growing costs of running our business, and over the years we have managed to continue with keeping our price increases to a minimum and keeping our customers satisfied.
But in the last few years the running costs have crept up, in inflation, our insurances have jumped annually, as well as certain organisations requiring that they have a finger in the pie, so due to this we would have to push our prices up way more than we are willing too, as it goes against our original goal of customer satisfaction and we wish to hold our reputation as being one of the best tour operators in both service and price.
But, there is a but, if you are not ready to say goodbye, which I know we are not.
We will continue to operate our Chichester forest cabins as we have always done.
And we hope to build a customer base that want to utilise there ideal location and venture out on their own social ride, we will be happy to offer up maps for those who come and stay so they can find their way around as we have for many years, you may even be able to convince glen to come along on a social ride.
So if this interests you call me, Alyson on (02)49959309
Our website will still be running for the next few weeks but we will close down the domain shortly,
This page will soon become Chichester forest cabins.
Again we want to thank all of our loyal customers from over the years.
Our workers that have put in their work for us.
As well as Chris Watson Motorcycles and Yamaha Motor Group for the ongoing support.
And Dungog motorcycle club.
You have all made the last 19 years for us what it was and it have been ONE HELL OF A RIDE!
