This is awesome news!!

🥂 🎉 Epic news: direct flights from Melbourne to Busselton will start 1st February ✈️

Jetstar will fly three times a week, from Melbourne’s Tullamarine to the Busselton-Margaret River Airport. Initial sale fares start at $149 each way (bargain!)

Originally scheduled to begin in March 2020, we’re stoked these direct flights will start early in 2021. It's fantastic news, especially as the West Aussie borders reopen, and we think our pals flying in from Melbourne are going to love the warmer weather, beautiful beaches, long winery lunches and incredible biodiversity.

This particular stretch of sand runs from Meelup and Castle Rock (pictured) right down to Dunsborough in the distance. It's a choice spot for swimming, stand up paddle boarding, snorkelling or hiking the bush trails, often as a prelude to the Cape to Cape Track walk. You can see why Lonely Planet named this region Number 1 on their Best in Asia Pacific list, with water "the hue of Bombay Sapphire bottle".

So what are you waiting for, Melburnians, it's time to snap up some tickets! ✈️ 🎫

If you are staying with make sure you walk down to the markets this Saturday for some awesome local produce and wares.

Our October market is this Saturday! 😀
We have lots of stalls, including fruit and veg, jewellery, candles, kids toys, clothing, specialty foods and cakes, plants, art, just to name a few. Lions volunteers will be running the bbq so you can grab a bacon and egg sandwich or sausage sizzle.
Cannot wait to see you all at Lions Park from 8am to 1pm for a great day out.

A special shout out to all of our past, present and future guests. We hope wherever you are in the world that you are staying safe and bunkering down to help decrease the spread of this horrible virus. Jobs may be lost and travel plans abandoned but these things can and will resume at a later date. While most countries will have their own way of dealing with this, ultimately the whole world is in this together!
