There are houses you stay in, and then there are houses that have stories to tell.
Homestead by the Bay has lived more than a few lives.
Long before it became the Old Dunsborough escape you see today, this property was built as a family home by the Harris family in the 19th century.
Over the years it went on to become the Hutchings Museum and antique shop, and later the Newberry Cafe & Bookshop and a design studio.
Today, part of that original home remains, restored and adapted for modern living while still holding onto some of the character that has been here for generations.
A little piece of Dunsborough history that you can actually stay in.
And perhaps the best part? You are only a short wander from the bay, with Old Dunsborough right outside the door.
