Legacy Trees:
We are currently undergoing a native tree planting program at NRR and for a short time can offer a choice of endemic species seedlings (limited stock - 1 per booking) for you to plant.
We’ve got Jam trees and Jarrahs, Blackbutts and Bull Banksias, Wandoos and Wattles all ready to go.
By pre-arrangement we will provide markers with your wording for permanent reference.
We are also germinating several understory and ground cover species to compliment these beautiful trees as the forest grows.

Woohoo!
We hardly ever look at our own hipcamp add and it was a pleasant surprise to see that we won a few gold stars in ‘25!
With campfires ablaze and wildlife everywhere, now boasting a new loo, upgraded site signage, improved access, and native tree planting, maybe we can repeat this for ‘26? We’re sure gonna try 😉

A lot of beautiful big trees around the property and right now the redgums are stunning and heavy with flower.
This attracts many gorgeous birds n bugs, including the biggest healthiest good ol’ ozzy marsh flies you’ve ever seen!
We know the 2 best methods of defence ever and will happily share them with anyone that books a site.
Really hot and dry right now so Turtle Dam, although further from the river, is the cooler site with much more natural shade. Of course River Camp is right there on the banks of the Murray.
