The best table in East Ballina. No reservation required – just a willingness to let dinner take as long as the sunset does.
Shaws Bay turns to glass. The cirrus clouds catch fire. And for half an hour, this is the only view that matters.
Summer evenings on the balcony. One of the reasons people keep coming back.

The lookout above Lighthouse Beach, early on a clear morning. Pandanus framing the view, the breakwall stretching out toward open water, and that particular shade of blue that only happens when the light is just right.
This is a 3-minute walk from our door. 5 if you stop to look at the water on the way down.
East Ballina has a way of slowing you down without you noticing. No agenda required. Just the coast, the quiet, and as much time as you want to spend looking at it.
Worth the walk. Every time.
