Our team @ Acclaim Pine Grove Holiday Park in Esperance is looking for a grounds person and cleaner to join our lovely Park, starting as soon as possible.

Grounds person.
Job includes maintaining gardens, hedges, and sites, and fixing the odd thing around the park. 30 hours a week.

Cleaner/Housekeeping
If you have an eye for detail, contact us. Cleaning includes Cabins, Ensuites, and camp facilities.
Working hours are normally between 8am and 2pm, Mondays to Fridays. depending on how busy we are. This is a casual position

For both positions, you must have your own accommodation in Esperance.

A pretty exciting event is happening this Saturday the 17th August. The Lexus Melbourne Cup will be touring Esperance along with 3 time Melbourne Cup winning jockey Damien Oliver.

There is several community events happening during the day including a sundowner at the Esperance Bay Turf Club from 4-7pm, giving the community a good chance to see the $750,000 18-carat gold cup “peoples cup”.

Calling all artists and creators! Get ready to showcase your talent at the Esperance Wildflower Festival 2024 Art Exhibition & Competition!

THEME: "Granite Species and Environments”

We invite artists of all ages, individual creators, Indigenous artists, and community groups to participate in this vibrant celebration of art and environment. Plus, we have a special category for schools (Kindergarten to Year 12) to unleash their creativity!

The 2024 AWARDS Categories are listed here! Check out the prizes (prize winners aged under 18 years will receive gift vouchers for art materials:

•Mina Crisp Award: Sponsored by Esperance Wildflower Society Esperance Wildflower Society and Esperance Wildflower FestivalEsperance Wildflower Festival. Open to all art forms (excluding photography) and all ages $700 First Prize, $300 Second Prize

•First Nations Award: Sponsored by Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation. Open to all art forms and all ages $700 First Prize, $300 Second Prize

•Community Group Award: Sponsored by Escare IncorporatedEscare Incorporated. Open to all art forms $500 Award for best entry by a community group.

Judging Criteria:
1. Theme: Strong creative links to the theme of Granite Species and Environments.
2. Sustainability: Innovative use of recycled/upcycled materials.
3. Technical Skill: Demonstration of strong artistic skill.

All entries will be exhibited together during the Esperance Wildflower Festival from 17 – 21 September at the Esperance Civic Centre. The winners will be announced at the Esperance Wildflower Festival on Saturday, 21 September 2024.

SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY:

•9am-12 pm Saturday 7 September 2024
•2 pm-5 pm Monday 9 September 2024

All entries must be delivered to Esperance Community Arts Space (Shop 6, Museum Village).
